This short walk lets you penetrate the fayalbrezal, a type of woodland that is typical of the southward facing slopes of the Park, which are less favoured by the mist. On this walk, you will see areas with different degrees of conservation, which might help you to understand the effects of different human activities on the forest: grazing, charcoal burning, gathering of leaves.

The walk goes to the edge of the central plateau of the island from where you have a beautiful view of the west coast, which is highly recommended, especially before the sunset.
