Canary St. John's wort (Hypericum canariensis)

A shrub of the family of the Hipericaceae which can reach a height of two metres. The flowers are yellow in colour and the fruit is a fleshy capsule which, when it ripens, becomes hard and is brown in colour. It commonly lives in the area of the thermophile laurisilva in the low areas. Flowering: April-May
