Corn Bunting (Miliaria calandra)

Other names: pájaro pollo, pájaro triguero.  The groups of corn buntings come together in large numbers in their winter sleeping places. They catch a large number of insects to raise their young. From their perch, they launch themselves onto beetles, grasshoppers, butterflies and caterpillars, among others.
