This is a species which is very widespread and common, which nests in a variety of locations in the trees running from urban parks to more remote woodlands, whether coniferous or deciduous, at sea level or in the mountains. This bird adapts without any kind of a problem. It is considered to be a good ally of man, due to the quantity and kind of insect that it eats. At times of cold and lack of food it looks for wild berries.
